About

The Philosophy Behind This Work

The In-Between Self exists for one kind of person: the one standing in the territory between an identity that no longer fits and a self that has not yet fully emerged.

Most of the world treats that territory as a problem — something to medicate, optimize, or hurry through. This project treats it differently: as a crossing with its own structure, its own stages, and its own intelligence. The essays, the assessment, the archetypes, and the Codex all serve a single purpose — to give language and orientation to an experience many people struggle to articulate.

You are the protagonist here. This project is only the guide — a lantern at the edge of the map, not a destination. Nothing on this site asks you to adopt a belief system. It asks you to examine the one you already carry, and to decide more consciously what deserves to remain.

Why I Created This

I didn't create The In-Between Self because I believe I have all the answers. I created it because I've spent years living with the questions.

This project emerged from lived experience, observation, independent study, and an ongoing curiosity about identity, conditioning, transformation, meaning — and what happens when an inherited way of understanding ourselves no longer fits.

Think of this work less as instruction from a mountaintop and more as field notes from someone who has walked some of the terrain.
