A Note on This Work
The In-Between Self is an educational and reflective project shaped by lived experience, independent study, philosophy, psychology-informed ideas, and contemplative inquiry.
I am not a psychologist, psychotherapist, psychiatrist, physician, or licensed mental-health professional. I do not present myself as a guru, spiritual authority, or substitute for qualified professional care.
The essays, assessments, archetypes, books, exercises, and practices shared through The In-Between Self are intended for education, reflection, and personal exploration.
They are not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any psychological, psychiatric, or medical condition, nor should they be interpreted as individualized medical or mental-health advice.
The In-Between Self explores ideas from multiple territories, including psychology, philosophy, archetypal thought, spirituality, behavioral observation, and lived experience.
Where established psychological theories, scientific research, or historical sources are discussed, the goal is to distinguish those sources from personal interpretation, philosophical exploration, and spiritual perspectives whenever reasonably possible.
Some concepts presented through The In-Between Self — including archetypes, stages of transformation, symbolic interpretations, and the In-Between framework itself — should be understood as reflective frameworks rather than clinical classifications or scientifically validated diagnostic systems.
The In-Between Self Assessment is therefore not a psychological test or clinical diagnostic instrument. Its purpose is to encourage self-observation, reflection, and thoughtful questioning.
If you are experiencing significant psychological distress, a mental-health crisis, or symptoms that interfere with everyday life, consider seeking support from an appropriately qualified healthcare or mental-health professional.
The purpose of this work is not to tell you what to believe.
It is to give you questions, perspectives, and frameworks that may help you examine what you already believe — and decide more consciously what deserves to remain.
